Micah Aaron

We welcomed our third child, Micah Aaron Chadbourn, on April 21 at 4:12pm. He weighed in at 9lbs 4 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long (Yes, big babies are normal for me). Jonathan and I are now outnumbered! But I honestly have to say that going from 1 to 2 was harder for us. The only thing is that now we only have two laps when three kids want to be held. Life with three kiddos does have its times, but it does make for comic relief. We try to to just laugh at those times when all the kids are crying or Matthew is playing in the toilet because we are busy with the other two. It can get crazy, but they are soooo much fun!

Micah is a really good baby. He loves being talked to and adores his brother and sister. In fact most of his early smiles and cooing have been for them. Since birth, he has only woken up once in the middle of the night and then again around 6:30am for his feedings. It's not too bad, and he always goes back to sleep. Considering Matthew was up every 45 minutes to an hour his first couple of months I am thanking God for Micah's much easier schedule. So far, he seems to have a laid back personality, but I think he wants more eye contact and talking too than either Claire or Matthew did. Obviously, all babies need that; but Micah seems to get really annoyed when you aren't looking at him in the eyes. :). He definitely looks like he's one of ours, but he looks a little more like my side of the family's baby pictures. Of course, one can never know. It seems like they change from day to day. Claire and Matthew are still flipping back and forth between who they look like.

Here are some pictures from Micah's first few weeks.
