The last set of our team is now on the field. They arrived Monday morning and we had our first meeting on Thursday afternoon! It has been seemingly hard to get a team to France (there is a lot that can work against it). However, God is greater than any odds. He has provided financially for each unit on the team and His timing is perfect. I will admit that there were moments last year when I would think, "Is this actually going to happen?" To that I now must hang my head in shame. It may not have happened when we thought it needed to happen or how it needed to happen, but looking back on it God's timing was the best. Over and over again God proves His complete sovereignty and His complete goodness. As our team leader often quotes, "God is good all the time, all the time God is good!"
We are now in the process of getting to know each other on the team, getting to know the culture, and working on our language skills.
Prayer Requests:
~Pray that God will begin to open up opportunities to get to know people we meet every day in our buildings, or in the park, or when we pick our kids up from school.
~Pray that we will meld well as a team and that our love for one another will show!
~Please praise God with us that our whole team is on the field!
