Psalm 46:10

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." The title of this blog is also the theme that Jonathan and I chose for our family this year. Our life appears and at many times feels chaotic and stressful. Yet we have found an amazing peace in knowing that God is in control. He has an ultimate plan! There is no need to worry or fret (Matthew 6:25-33).

These first couple of weeks have been literally and figuratively filled with springlike weather. There are many days when the rain has been difficult to handle, and yet we have had an umbrella to protect us. I say this in a spiritual sense. God is protecting and guiding us through each step we take. Although we can't always see those steps and sometimes get wet with annoyance or fear, we are protected. God will not "drench" us with more than we can handle.

Please continue to pray for our family as we step through the sunshine and the rain. Pray that we will know He has us under His umbrella! Pray that we will be still and know that He is God!
